Addon shared configs?

Hi. Just starting to try to box Wow. One of the first things I want to do is make my UI match my needs so I installed my favorite unit frames addon. I'm trying to make all 5 clients alike. I tried to use broadcasting to line things all up at once but I just failed miserably.

So I figured I'd just set up one client, save its profile, and then load that profile in the other clients. No joy. The saved profile isn't seen between the sub accounts.

I am wondering if anyone has any tips or tricks on how to do this? Right now I'm only playing with unit frames, but I can see wanting to share profiles in other add ons as well.

It's usually easier to just turn on mouse repeater and do it that way, though (I know you said you tried this already).
