fast key maps

Hi

i have a little trouble and i didnt find the reason.
i used your noob topics for the follow, the assist and all is good but ....

but many keys of my keybords didnt send fast the order in the 2 clones windows.

my ring is i7 x980 so 6 cores with 12 Go ram, w7 X64, few hard disks and SSD in raid0
video 5870 2Goram with 3 screens
mouse G5 and G19 keyboard
and swtor with 3 fighters

one picture to check if cpu / memory / net is not overflow and all is good
Image

i use the mode key map on with broadcasting off

to use the follow, i use the key .. F .. and i program this key on my mouse too
So when i hit one button of the mouse, it send key F to the 3 screens, i need to hit twice the button.
it s the same for many like key 1 , 2 etc .....

i try to use the hold option but it s the same
it s strange because 2 keys are fast like jump in space or key W to show arms.
All other need 2 strike on the keyboard to work good :(

With the mode broadcasting on, and key map off, all the keys are fast and it s perfect but no automatic follow and assist
i broadcast the keys and swith off the mouse
in this case all command are very sweetie and fast.

where i can find the solution ?
thank s

Re: fast key maps

I know nothing about your configuration in order to give you a specific answer. See HOWTO: Share your configuration for better support for how to show me :)

Generally, if you have to hit a button twice, it's because you have multiple Steps in your Mapped Key. You press (or release) the Hotkey, and one Step is performed. That's the definition (and purpose) of a Step. You can make it so your Mapped Key only executes a Step on Press, you can make it so it only does one on Release, and you can make it so it does one on either ("pressed OR released") which makes a 2-Step Mapped Key only need "one press" to execute its two Steps.

Likewise, if you have for some reason created THREE steps in your Mapped Key, then you cannot execute all 3 without pressing the Hotkey at least twice, even with "pressed OR released" -- 1 = press, 2 = release, 3=press (and then step 1 again on release).

Re: fast key maps

ok thanks

i read .... and i see .. 3 steps for each combat keyboard keys

step 1 target slot other windows
step 2 assist target other windows
step 3 send key to all windows

on the old wow, i used this way ... target, assist and attack

for the heal, i use the same
step 1 target the main to each toons
step 2 send heal

for the follow, 3 steps
step 1 target
step 2 follow
step 3 assist .... to be faster for the next !!!!

Even to dont lost the follow, i thought to add an another step ... to remember the follow after the attack !!!!

so, i will need to erase step 1 target and stay only my second and third step ;)

Re: fast key maps

You may be confused between Actions (of which you can have multiple in a Step) and Steps (of which you can have multiple in a Mapped Key) but I have no way of knowing... until you link your ISBoxer configuration as requested. This functionality (configuration sharing) was put into ISBoxer so we can easily check you have everything set up correctly and move on to other possible reasons for the behaviour you are seeing.

Until then we can talk and talk and in most cases get precisely nowhere.
