1. The /follow issue does not exist (may be "fixed") on SWTOR's test server - Source: http://www.dual-boxing.com/showthread.php?t=45968&page=11
2. Patch 1.1 goes live next Tuesday (Jan 17th) - Source: http://massively.joystiq.com/2012/01/12/rakghouls-and-raging-hutts-with-swtors-gabe-amatangelo/

Therefore:
3. We hope that the /follow fix goes live next Tuesday! (Jan 17th)

I really hope the follow fix makes it in on the 17th!

Time to get my main (39) to 50 to help power level my secondary account!

I am one of the hopeful I tested on test server and it worked very well ruind my day of having fun but I was very happy with the follow.

More bad news . . . the notes for the v1.1 update from the test server fail to mention anything about fixing the /follow command
