Blurry fx viewer window

Hi,

I am trying to make a second chat window, so I can see and write on the guild chat of another guild. It is working for me, but it is so blurry that I can't read what guildies write:

The viewer (yes this one is made by phone, couldnt get the fx window with normal ss):

The source:

I also tried setting the exact same window size, but didn't help.

http://isboxer.com/wiki/FAQ#Why_does_my ... quality.3F

edit:

oh and on this page http://isboxer.com/wiki/Video_FX it's even in bold. I've made it bigger coz bold on here sucks.

If the Video FX source region is in a scaled down window, the Video FX viewer will also be affected (i.e. pixellated). This feature is therefore most useful with larger "slave" windows, which do not need to be visible and may be hidden behind other windows. The 'Stacked full screen' style from the wizard is ideal. Note that minimizing a window will usually stop it from rendering entirely.

How can I use full screen stack style, if I can only use one screen with 2 pc's?

err, you can stack each PC?
If you really only have a single screen for the two PC's then I guess you have a KVM? VideoFX is per PC and not across multiple PC's so it is no help there. If you have a headless, it will still be headless.

When you have a stacked screen layout for videoFX, people either tend to build a dashboard using DXNothing, and sometimes even use it as the display window altogether and never directly use a game window. Other times it is used to replicate the "mini viewers", that a normal layout gives, like this. MiRai did a good bunch of videos on it starting here. Links in the description to others.

The viewer and source are on 1 pc, but I use multiple pc's for the actual team.
I have 3 screen's on the fx pc, but somehow I can only use 1 with 2 pc setup:

Edit:
I can use all 3 minitor's if I have a single pc team.

That's a different issue.
If you have multiple screens that ISBoxer will read them from Windows when it creates a new Window Layout, or at least is should - if you are having issues with this then something is not right. When you choose a character set to associate and have a Computer associated with a Character Set, then it loads the screen details from the Computer details. If you have just added those screen details rather than them being detected, I do not know what effect that will have, or whether the referenced names are of concern. The names that normally get presented (\\.\DISPLAY1, \\.\DISPLAY2 etc) have meaning, whereas the ones in your screen shot don't. This is quickly becomes an edge case setup problem that most people wont have experienced.

If you are modifying an existing Window Layout then the screen sizes and locations will be the same as that when you first setup that Window Layout, because the screen sizes, number of screens, etc are all saved with the Window Layout.

All that said. A look at your profile may show up any problems, and a Capture State on your main PC there may also help. You can get this from opening the ISBoxer in-game GUI (CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+G usually), going to the debug tab, and hitting the Capture State button, and posting the details.

This is my set: http://www.privatepaste.com/a20c2802d0 I will debug later. I'm pretty sure that the screens are being recognized since I can use all of them on a single pc character set.

Re: Blurry fx viewer window

Ok, so the issue is your profile.

All your screens are set to be in the same location. I.e. the ISBoxer settings indicate they are in front of each other. The screen boundary values are left/top/right/bottom values, but because all your screens have a top of 0 and a left of 0 then that are all on top of each other!.

Normally your screen boundaries are offset.
e.g. if you have them located physical as
<Small Samsung > <Dell> <Big Samsung>
and the primary monitor is <Dell>

then the boundaries would be
Small Samsung left = -1680, top = 0, right = 0, bottom = 1050
Dell left = 0, top = 0, right = 1920, bottom = 1080
Big Samsung left = 1920, top = 0, right = 3280, bottom = 768
