Video FX settings not saving

I have 2 game windows of SWTOR running on separate monitors. I had been playing around with a VideoFX source on each game covering a secondary in-game hotbar and then a viewer on the other game screen. I had been moving these around trying to get the best layout and each time was able to save to AUTO and the next time I launched the VideoFX source/viewers would be in the correct place.

Then one day it stopped saving. I tried saving to a different name but no luck, I resorted to setting the VFX windows each time I started playing.

Last night I was jack of that though and went looking for the VFX config files. I found them under Inner Space/Scripts, one for each character. I manually edited in the location and width/height of the VFXs I wanted and all was good.

I did notice though that the folder Inner Space/Scripts has security settings that don't let me edit the config files directly. I had to rename them as I wasn't allowed to save edited versions.
Could this be what is stopping InnerSpace from saving the Auto config file?
Why would the permissions on that folder have changed?

I am using Windows 7 64bit with a local admin user account.
Computer:
Intel 3930K (6 core, 12 hyperthreaded), Asus P9X79 LE, 16GB Ram
2 x Sapphire 7970 Dual-X Boost in Crossfire.
2 x 27" 2560x1440 monitors.

Yes, this is why, but I don't know why the folder(s) would have had their permissions changed.

You can fix the permissions via an elevated command prompt as follows:
  1. Click on the Start Orb.
  2. Go to All Programs -> Accessories, and then locate the Command Prompt menu item.
  3. Right click on Command Prompt.
  4. On the pop-up right click context menu, select Run as Administrator.
  5. cd "\Program Files" or cd "\Program Files (x86)" for 64bit Windows
  6. Type: takeown /f Innerspace /r /d y
  7. Type: icacls Innerspace /grant administrators:F /t

Or if you prefer, you can install a right-click context menu to let you do this from HERE

Thanks Valerian, the commands worked.

Can't think of anything I would have done to change the permissions apart from installing and setting up Acronis True Image Home backup.
