Cant add VFX Source

I just installed isboxer on my laptop, and ive got a problem with getting VFX to run proberly.

I cant add any VFX source, when I hit the botten in the game UI, nothing happens.


Ive got Aero enabled.
I can add VFX Viewer (Etc. is1, is2)


Anyone knows what my problem might be?

Nothing happens? At the very least it should give you a green box with a standard window frame around it, even if you don't meet the requirements (Windows Vista or later with Aero). Maybe pick a different name for the source you're trying to add?

No nothing happens at all when i press the button, I dont get the green box or anything.

Ive tryed diffrent names and sizes.
Im currently running windows 7 64bit Home Premium.

Thanks, that shows me that it appears normal and is what I was hoping for.

Which probably means that the script that runs behind the scenes to control the ISBoxer widgets is not running or is having some problem. Open up the in-game Console when you do this. You can make sure the script is running by entering the following command:

The output from the command should look like this:

isboxerui is the one that controls the widgets. If it's not in the list, then your ISBoxer widgets are not going to operate.

If it is running, click Add with the Console open and see if it says anything. When it's working properly, clicking Add will generate no output.

It occurs to me that the easiest way for you to make this behavior happen is to check the box for a particular Character in your ISBoxer config that says "Video FX viewers stay when in background (blocks Video FX Sources!)". That would prevent you from making any Video FX sources in that particular window. Make sure that's not enabled

Ive got it working now.

I reinstalled it a few times, and suddenly it worked.
