Can't get Interact with target to work

I am a returning multiboxer that's trying to get a 5 man group running in Rift.
Following the basic video guide setup and the "5-man group guide" I still can't get it to work.

I have the keys set up in game. follow works, assist does too but interact just refuses. I have the macros setup in game for both /follow and /interact.

I've done a search on the forums but haven't found any answers how to troubleshoot nor find any others solution.

First, are you assisting before trying to use interact? Second, are you standing next to the unit (or corpse) you're trying to interact with? Third, and with Key Maps disabled, does pressing Shift+Alt+2 successfully interact with your target?

Cleared all settings.
Recreating according to Joe's guide RIFT Multiboxing walkthrough for ISBoxer 41

Helped this time. It now works just as it did a year or so back when I last MB'd
