Follow & Assist Macros (Simplified) issue with ctrl

Hi i tried to configure the macros same as in the video because i had some issues landing in different groups after i joined an instant adventure

i did not forget to enter the space but it seems lile my toons which use ctrl don t work
the other ones do

is there a chance i it does not work because i use a german game/ keyboard?
