Virtual Files not working with Rift

The rift.cfg and riftpatch.cfg virtual files seem to be broken as of the 26th July. Game keeps reverting to first logon cinematics and selection process every time. Would be grateful for a fix or explanation on how to resolve.

I have deleted previous virtual files and re-run the wizard with no success.

Do the original rift.cfg and riftpatch.cfg files exist in the folder?

Yes they are - the files are all present in the %APPDATA%\Rift folder. I checked the contents of the original rift.cfg files (for chars I havent logged in with) which didn't match the newly generated one at logon. Then new one contains two entries:

AudioLanguage =

[Video]
WindowMode = 1

The original files (for chars I havent logged in with) are fine with a wad of entries in them - but even if I replace the files, every time I login using ISBoxer the rift-%char%.cfg is being overwritten as above.

Just as confirmation, I am having the same issue and it also started with the last patch for me. Checked files (and pointers to files in ISBoxer) and all looks correct.

Inner Space build 5661 should correct this issue. Just close and restart Inner Space (and any game instances) to allow it to patch up

I am patched up to 5661 and I am still seeing the issue.

Build 5662, now live, is confirmed to fix Virtual Files with Rift. Close and restart Inner Space to let it patch up.
