The CC BAR

The CC bar is pretty straight forward. It is just a click bar that calls a specific set of mapped keys from two key maps -- CCIt and SilenceIt. I'm not going to post these key maps, because they are literally simple 1 button keystroke without the FTL Assist Me macro.

Instead, I will share an example Rift macro that I use:

Macro: Sergeants Marks
Code:
#show Sergeant's Order
cast [shift] @mark 8 Sergeant's Order
cast [alt] @mark 7 Sergeant's Order
cast @mark 6 Sergeant's Order

Using a macro like this mapped to NUM 1 in my Rift key bindings, I can use the CC bar like this:

Note that I right click to execute a Quietus macro on my cleric (same macro, different ability).

That's it!

THE HEAL BAR 2.0

I simplified the heal bar to make it easier to use. I use the same macro functions, but have drastically simplified the bar -- I now only cast 2 heals -- one per bar row:

Image

Here are the Rift Macros:

Macro: HealB1-3

Code:
#show Healing Breath
cast [ctrl] @mark 1 Healing Breath
cast [alt] @mark 2 Healing Breath
cast [shift] @mark 3 Healing Breath
cast @self Healing Breath

[the last line is more of a debugging flag -- it will cast if none of the mod keys get sent via ISBoxer's click bar (which will never happen, but in case it does, I want to know lol)]

Macro: HealB4-5

Code:
#show Healing Breath
cast [ctrl] @mark 4 Healing Breath
cast [alt] @mark 5 Healing Breath
cast @self Healing Breath

Macro: Heal1-3

Code:
#show Healing Invocation
cast [ctrl] @mark 1 Healing Invocation
cast [alt] @mark 2 Healing Invocation
cast [shift] @mark 3 Healing Invocation
cast @self Healing Invocation

[the last line is more of a debugging flag -- it will cast if none of the mod keys get sent via ISBoxer's click bar (which will never happen, but in case it does, I want to know lol)]

Macro: Heal4-5

Code:
#show Healing Invocation
cast [ctrl] @mark 4 Healing Invocation
cast [alt] @mark 5 Healing Invocation
cast @self Healing Invocation

I just put Heal1-3 on Ins keybind, Heal4-5 on Del, HealB1-3 on Home, and HealB3-4 on End. Then, I send the appropriate key stroke actions via a mapped key.
Here's the click bar:

Note that on a right click of the first button in row 2, I drink a mana pot :) definitely needed in some of the instances heh

THE TEAM ACTION BAR

This last bit is extra... Somewhere along the way, I decided to do some things that made my life easier, and seemed neatomosquito. In other words, I succumbed to scope creep.

This is what I call the Team Action Bar:

Image

The first button controls whether my toons assist the hot character or stay on their current target. The second toggles on AOE key maps. The third is just a short cut to make each of my three rogues play a different anthem, and the fourth is a short cut to make the rogues run all the motifs.

Let's talk about the assist button first:

Image -- assist me by default
Image -- don't assist me

And the click bar settings:
Image

This seems pretty straight forward. I just needed a toggle to turn off or on the FTL Assist Me mapped key. But then my hot character died and I swapped... Ok, so I decided I needed this state to be persistent. Good thing I figured out how to do that coding the role bar!

Here are the necessary mapped keys:

Next, the AOE toggle:

Image -- aoe free

And the click bar settings:

Here are the mapped keys necessary:

All pretty straight forward given the role bar discussion above.

Finally, here are the click bar settings for the last two buttons:

Basically for these buttons, I just created a mapped key for each, that tells each rogue TAG to play an anthem (each plays a different one). For the motifs, I needed a 2 step mapped key, but double clicking the button plays all the motifs in my arsenal.

That's it :)

wow, that is intense!
I am going to have to print it all out and study it as it mostly went way over my head.

I think I get the role thing now. It is basically a different set of ability keys used to perform DPS or healing. I had thought there was a way of changing your actual spec in game to DPS or healing.
This has inspired me to add another character to my duo and get something like this setup.

Cheers :)

Great work Berserker! This sort of setup really shows the power of ISBoxer.

Nice work :)

I think you would benefit from using Mapped Key Virtualization. I need to write up some better resources for this (the wiki page needs updating) but this thread will take you through it: http://isboxer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=233

Thanks everybody!

I did look at the Mapped Key Virtualization a little bit, but what I really wanted it to be was Key Map Virtualization, so it didn't work out very well hehe

I'll take another look it at, though. Thanks for the link!

That could be arranged.

That would make the role bars concept much easier -- no more turning off and on key maps, just swapping in the one you want active ;)

Done!

Code:
ISBoxer 38.2.316.1
    * Mapped Key Virtualization can now virtualize all mappings in a Key Map as all mappings in another Key Map, by only specifying two Key Maps (not Mapped Keys)
    * Mapped Key Virtualization can now virtualize all mappings in a Key Map as a specific Mapped Key, by only specifying the original Key Map (not a Mapped Key)

Now available. :)
