5 client hardware advice needed plz

Hi guys,

english isnt my main language so please forgive me this mess. First of all I want to
thank you guys for this wonderful tool you created! I hope you can spare a little
of your time give me a hand with my hardware "problem"

my system :

i3-4160 @ 3.60 GHz (Socket 1150)
GeForce GT 635 (pci express x16)
8 GB DDR3 1600 (board could handle max 16 GB,1866, 1.5volt)
No SSD
Windows 10 64bit

my setup :

im running 4 accounts world of warcraft with 3 slaves on minimal resolution (800*600),
minimal graphic settings, no sound and most of the interface options disabled.

only my main window differs with a 1152*864 resolution and low sound settings
enabled (yay!gg)

my goal :

i want to run 5 accounts smoothly. i dont mind longer loading times or
good graphics. its all about performance!

my problem :

the 4 accounts run "ok-ish". in only lagg in cities but sometimes not all
keystrokes find their way to all windows. i have to "hammer" my keys time to time =)

i dont want to spend a lot of money. so what do you guys think to do first

1.) upgrade the cpu to i5 xxxxx
- which one? i have no clue about cpus. ive read that i need 1 core for 1 instance? and i know
my boards socket is 1150

2.) upgrade to 16 gb ram?
-is there a "feel" between 1600 and 1866?

3.) getting a better gforce..like 7xxx + with 4gb

4.) a small SSD?

im totaly clueless guys. please help me out.

have a nice evening and take care! :)

If you can only fit an i5 into the budget, then I'd get the 4960K, but the 4460 is the next step down.

Probably a good idea.

Unlikely, but sometimes 1866 can be cheaper due to a sale, so just go with whichever fits your budget.

The only nVidia GPUs from the 700 series with > 3GB of VRAM are Titans, which I don't think you want to pay for. To stay within the 3-4GB range, you're probably looking at either a GTX 970, or a 780 Ti, but the 970 is slightly more modern and gives you access to a bit more VRAM.

It'll definitely help, but not incredibly necessary if it doesn't fit into the current budget. If you can get one, I'd probably look for a 128GB model which you can put both the OS and the game onto. I'll also point out that you don't normally get full access to an SSD's speed until you move to a 256GB model or higher (64/128GB tend to be slightly gimped compared to higher capacities), but regardless, an SSD is faster than an HDD.
