Corsair K95 support

I just got back into things after a break.
I have a new Corsair K95 keyboard with G keys that I can't get to work with ISboxer.
I never had this problem with my Logitech G15.
Can anyone explain how to get ISboxer to see the G keys when I press them?
(i.e. I'm not emulating other keypresses - I want ISboxer to see "G1" when I press "G1" - I have that setup to change focus to character window 1, etc..)

You can check out the Supported Devices list. http://www.isboxer.com/wiki/Supported_Input_Devices
Unfortunately the Corsair K95 is not on it.

This does not mean it might not be able to be supported, but as there are no other Corsair devices there, I suspect that the implementation Corsair use for their keyboards may be the undesirable "lets emulate it as another full keyboard" and not may be preferred implementation of additional keys. As per Lax's response above, you will more than likely need to follow his instructions and run the Corsair software as Admin, and set the G keys in there to emulate standard keyboard key presses.

Until Lax adds support for Corsair keyboards, it appears I'm stuck with emulating other keypresses.

In the meantime, I'll run the button tester and collect the info for Lax.

I'm not sure you fully understood. It is a HARDWARE issue, not a lack of support for it in ISBoxer/Inner Space. You need to convince Corsair to change how they manufacture their keyboards (or how they program the IC's).

Logitech has better drivers and hardware than the Corsair.

Most input devices these days program the hardware itself, which then directly emulates the keypresses. Logitech does that, but also supports the hardware buttons and this is why ISBoxer can use the actual buttons. The K95, my Razer Naga mice, etc do not do this; they just emulate keypresses, and that is why ISBoxer cannot detect the actual keys on your K95.

So then why do I get this output when pressing the "G1" key (with nothing mapped to it in the Corsair software)?
I presume "Button 1 at bit 128" is the G1 key and "Button 2 at bit 8" is the ESC key.
If the G1 key is not setup in the Corsair software to duplicate any other keys or macros, what is it outputting?
This looks like exactly the sort of output the instructions above are looking for.

... Okay, then by all means, get me the full output from pressing the programmable buttons. Not the normal keyboard buttons.

Edit: I may have been recalling the K90 rather than K95. The K90 does not produce output - http://isboxer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=2061

Re: Possible future support for new gaming keyboards?

Inner Space build 6084, now the development build of Inner Space, should natively support your Corsair K95. Please try it out and let me know!

To do so, right click IS and select Patcher, tick "Download development (test) patches" then close and restart Inner Space to let it patch up. After restarting Inner Space, restart ISBoxer so it will reload the input device info that IS will generate when it starts up
