Maxing out the core speed on the 290/x card
When multi boxing I was noticing that the core cpu speed would run low then seem to lag behind the needs of my running clients.
After some hunting I found the fix inside of msi afterburner.
- Download MSI afterburner
- Tweak the settings as you see fit(my 290x runs well at cpu 1050 / memory 1400 / power +50)
- Inside settings, Disable ULPS and enable over clocking without Power Play Support (seems to be the biggest improvement in keeping the core speed at max)
