Re: Logitech G series and ISBoxer

Ok.
I figured it out now..
I went to the innerspace forlder and renamed the InputDevices.XML to InputDevices.bak.
Then I launched innerspace again.. Closed it... Opened up Isboxer and voila... Now it detected my G19 and my Razer Mamba aswell :D

Thnx for the reply tho Lax and for the gr8 software ;)

G110 is currently supported, along with G11, G13, G15, and G19.

Re: Logitech G series and ISBoxer

I recently got a G700 mouse from Logitech, and while I can maps keys to the extra buttons and use it in ISBoxer, I can not map the extra buttons directly. The first 5 buttons map automatically to Mouse1-Mouse5, and mouse wheel up/down work by default as well. The other 6 buttons only work when bound to key strokes. When I run the program at the beginning of this post, I do not get any output on the screen. I do know it's working, as I can get it to output information when i hit the volume controls on my keyboard.

It's not a big deal as mapping to keys is working fine for now, but it would be nice to not have to sack KB key strokes to use the button.

Hi... I've also purchased the G700 Gaming mouse from logitech and doesnt seem to be recognised by isboxer.. I tried the buttontester program but it didnt respond from my mouse at all... can this be fixed or do i need to just use the keystroke binding in the mouse configuration tool.

Re: Logitech G series and ISBoxer

You will need to use Logitech SetPoint (run as Administrator) to handle the additional buttons on the G700 mouse (or pretty much any Logitech mouse)

Is this a fundamental limitation in the hardware? How are the mice different than the keyboards? I fully trust your assessment, but am more curious than anything else.

Some of the older versions of set point let you setup the mouse buttons to mimic keys that normal keyboards could not send (such as F13-F18). Sadly, the version that came with my G700 does not have this functionality.

Re: Logitech G series and ISBoxer

It's a limitation of software, the mice are implemented differently by the vendor (Logitech) than keyboards are. The method I used to support keyboard devices apparently does not work the same for mice. Joe Multiboxer should provide better support for these (and other) devices
