[WoW] XBox controller

I have an Xbox360 controller and want to use the input device key mapper but can't seem to get anything to work. The Microsoft drivers are installed, I create a key map action with the defaults settings for the controller but no button or thumbstick activity is passed on. I ran the buttontest.iss script and everything works correctly, so I am stuck.

Does anyone have an idea how I can get this to work, such as an example or something?
