Large 1920x1080 monitor vs 1920x1200 resolution? Downside

Would I realize a significant difference if I switched to a 1920x1080 resolution on my main monitor vs the current 1920x1200? I am considering using a high response (120/240hz) 37 or 40 inch LCD flat panel TV instead of my current 28 inch monitor. I am thinking that the additional screen space and possible performance boost from a lower resolution would benefit me significantly in terms of setting up more video feeds and customizing my ISBoxer displays (and allow me to run the second 28 inch screen as a blank display for additional video feeds as per Lax's recent post and update to ISBoxer.

Is the quality difference that large? I am tyring to figure out whether there is a significant downside to this set up (I assume I have to run my other "blank feed" at 1920x1080 too, but that isn't the biggest deal). Any thoughts or suggestions (or recommendations for a new, large monitor setup)? I am open recommendations on great/reasonably priced monitors/LCD TVs as well, I just haven't found any really large monitors where the increased resolutions seems to be worth the high premium between them and a good 1920x1080 large screen LCD TV...

Well, you can test if the quality difference is large by creating a 1920x1080 layout in ISBoxer on your current setup. As for the blank
feed (I'm assuming you're talking about dxNothing), it can be ran at whatever resolution you desire. I prefer 16:9 resolution screens
(ie - 1920x1080) because they're "friendlier" to record videos on if you're playing full screen.
