Newest STO (Legacy of Romulus Update) crashing on startup

Hello all,

I've been multiboxing Star Trek Online with good success on my Windows 7 desktop PC (seven slots) up until the latest major update to the client (Legacy of Romulus, on May 21st). Since then, the launcher crashes with a Cryptic error right after clicking on 'Engage' button. The game plays fine if I launch it normally (outside isboxer control). Video settings are all set to "Speed" (ie max performance with all quality settings turned off).

Crash log says only:
130515 18:00:12 43 Client[0 P[1611135@3797852 char@accountname]]: GSM_Quit(). Reason: emEditorMain or utilitiesLibShouldQuit()

Is anyone else seeing this behavior? Any ideas?

STO Launcher version is CL_2013_05_24_15_08.

I'm patching my STO now. While I wait on that ... The launcher appears to be pretty similar to the Neverwinter launcher, so I'm not entirely sure it should be crashing with ISBoxer.

My first thought given your ISBoxer diagnostics is that it could potentially be related to UltraMon. I would try shutting that off first and see if that changes anything. There was an issue people reported somewhat recently with this program and EverQuest, so ... just a thought. May or may not be related to your crash, but something to try.

Lax, thanks for the suggestion. I exited Ultramon but am still seeing the crash on engage behavior with STO. FYI, I do routinely run Ultramon with EQ2 which is still working well for me with isboxer 41.

I am having the exact same issue since the Romulus patch. Innerspace launches the STO game launcher no problem, but when I press Engage, it crashes.

This is fixed in Inner Space build 5849. This build is now live!

Just close and restart Inner Space to let it patch up.
