I need to attach an image from my "documents/photos". How do I attach the photo of my error message to this post? There is not an "attachment or Paperclip" button option here. I see the "Img" button, but I don't understand how to use it.

You would either upload the image via the "Upload Attachment" tab when creating a post (below the edit box), or you'd use an image hosting site (like Imgur) to upload your images to, and then provide a link to them.

However, if you're going to use an image sharing site, please don't use Photobucket since it's garbage.
