You could create a mapped key for Interact With Target.
For this to work, you'll need Click to Move enabled.
You can create a mapped key that enables it, if you like and place it within your IWT mapped key.
/Console AutoInteract 1 (enables it) and /Console AutoInteract 0 (disables it).
The basic idea is a two step mapped key.
You want it to execute a step on press and release.
Check the box to hold actions while the hotkey is held.
Step 1
- Do Mapped Key Action > General Keymap > FTL Assist Me > Target Current Window.
- Send a keystroke to the target(s) of your choice, the keybind will be your warcraft IWT.
Step 2
- Send a keystroke to the target(s) of your choice (same targets), the keybind will be down arrow.
So you'll press this key, and have your toon Interact With Target.
Which means it will turn towards and then run at your target.
But when you release the key, the movement is broken.
And they're facing the target.
If you wanted to add Click To Move to this.
Create two more macros which are Key Actions > Warcraft Macro Actions.
Both are one step, target is current window.
One is /Console AutoInteract 1
The other is /Console AutoInteract 0
Have the one which enables CTM as an action prior to the IWT keybind in the first step of the previous mapped key.
And have the other which disables CTM as an action anywhere in the second mapped key (ie, after the IWT command has been given).
