wow-interacting with target

I am using isboxer42 in wow classic. everything has worked fine except "interact with target". I read through a lot of other posts and my issue seems to be different from their issues.

I am doing 5 characters. the 1 slot will interact but the others wont. All 5 will target slot 1's target when I hit the key. If I bring a different slot to the main window they will interact when I push the key as well as 1 slot. All are in a party and facing the target, right next to it.

any help is welcome!!!
Thanks in advance

So...

From SLOT1: All other pick up the correct target, but do not interact.
From SLOT2: All other pick up the correct target, and do properly interact.

Is this correct? If so, I see no reason why (or how) that could be happening. The same keys, regardless, of character, are being sent to the game client when you press Alt+G. If they're all assisting properly, but not interacting, then the issue lies with the IWT key binding, in game, but if I'm understanding your initial post, they are interacting just fine when the Hotkey is pressed from a different character.

no. when slot 2 is in the main window, only slot 2 and 1 interact. the other 3 don't. all do target though

It is probably due to the CPU core limiting you have set.

You should try the CPU Strategy Wizard and select the last option in the drop down.
It will say something like
"Select all CPUs with every window......... "

Choose the last item.
