Trying to understand profile generated by wizard

I used the MMO-Standard option for WoW.

What is the purpose of having "ISB42 - Combat Broadcast Hotkeys" call
"ISB42 - Combat Broadcast"? Why add that layer of abstraction when you
can just assign hotkeys to "ISB42 - Combat Broadcast"?

Re: Trying to understand profile generated by wizard

Because, depending on the game you select, then certain things aren't used.

You character set is doing some mappings, which mean that without changing the mapped keys, the same structure can be used for Action RPG games as well as MMO games, which before this, it was easier to have two separate profiles. You can also mix other MMO's like WoW and EQ where the targeting method you would use is different. All within the same profile, with the same mapped keys, and with no stepping on other toes.

The Combat Broadcast Hotkeys and Combat Broadcast, just take the same approach, although they are not strictly required to, but it makes it easy enough to Copy the Combat Broadcast key map, and then use the virtual mapped keys to replace it with a custom setup for a specific character set.
