MSI Afterburner Causing innerspace to crash

I recently started playing diablo 3 again and promptly renewed my isboxer subscription. I have been using the service for about 3 weeks but was having problems with riva tuner which is part of the MSI afterburner package. I decided to update MSI afterburner to the lates version 4.3(my previous version was a few years old). I also updated my GPU drivers to the latest version of Crimson Relive 17.4.3. My gpu driver was also a few years old from lack of playing any games. My PC is currently running Win 10 pro 64. In previous weeks, I simply would start MSI afterburner then start inner space and launch my farm team in diablo 3 and everything worked just fine. That is until I updated both afterburner and my GPU drivers on Friday the 28th of april. Immediately after updating both of those items, I would start afterburner and attempt to run innerspace. Afterburner works just fine but innerspace gives me an error and shuts down. It does the same thing if I have AMD radeon settings open and attempt to run innerspace.

I have figure out if I start innerpsace first and then launch My farm team and then launch afterburner after my 4 game windows have loaded, it works. This is a rather annoying problem. Has anyone else had this issue?

As most multiboxing people don't use the features of Raptr, the large amount of time needed to figure out what other hooks it is making; the recommendation is normally to remove it from your system. You might be able to be a bit more specific and only remove PlaysTV.
If that doesn't work, you may need to remove the AMD graphics drivers first, and then install them and unselect Raptr along the way.

I will uninstall that since I don't use it. I have been using bandicam for recording and it suits me just fine. However, I am able to run innerspace just fine with plays tv open...it is when i have MSI afterburner open and try to launch innerspace that I get that error. I will let you know how it goes after I uninstall raptr.

I uninstalled raptr and I still get the error if I have MSI afterburner open and try to launch innerspace. If I simply kill plays.tv in the task manager, I can open innerspace just fine while msi afterburner is open. Now to figure out how to kill plays.tv permanantly.

It looks as if you might not be using the latest version of RTSS, which is 7.0.0 B19, which may or may not help. As bob said, and as you've stated, another program could easily be an issue, though.

I think we solved the problem. No more crashes. While plays.tv was running, I was able to run innerspace with no issues. With plays.tv running + MSI afterburner, innerspace instantly crashed on launch. With plays.tv running + radeon settings open, innerspace instantly crashed on launch. Simply disabling plays.tv through the task manager allowed me to open either MSI afterburner or radeon settings ( or both at the same time) and then run innerspace without any issues.

I really didn't like AMD shoving plays.tv down my throat so I have no issue disabling it permanently. This doesn't help anyone who is running the latest AMD drivers and likes plays.tv + afterburner + innerspace but at least my issue is solved. I really wish I had paid attention to how old my GPU drivers were for future reference.....there was a version of plays tv with my old drivers but it did not cause any conflicts.
