Broadcast Help

Had a search through forum and can't seem to find any other answer.

For some reason i can get my keys to broadcast, Pressing fireball but the keypress is not registering in my 2 other windows (All mages). I must be missing something easy so any ideas?

I've watched the 40 second clip, followed the setup wizard and they still dont broadcast, looked at other videos on youtube and the main site and same result

Re: Broadcast Help

There are two broadcast modes with IS Boxer.

There is repeater, which has everything you type or click passed to the other windows.
This is good for entering your password, or clicking on a portal.

There is also keymaps, which are highly flexible hotkeys or software actions.
Things like having your other toons assist you and then cast whatever is on the same key.

For the most part, in play you'll want Keymaps on and Repeater Off.
Or both off, when you're chatting.

I forget what the default hotkeys are for Keymaps and Repeater.
But you can open IS Boxer Toolkit.
Expand Keymaps in the top pane.
Click on Control.
In the (bottom left pane), click on Activate Maps.
This is the hotkey to enable/disable your Keymaps.
You can also check the repeater hotkey in this section too.

I'd guess, in game you don't have the Keymaps enabled.

Re: Broadcast Help

Thanks for ther reply, I had keymaps on and it still wasn't working before. He follows ok etc but when i cast a spell my others do nothing.

I've reset isboxer and cleared all profiles and started again. My wow is a standard install with nothing special.

I've tried it with just 2 mages and still same, One casts while the other looks at the view!

I'm stumped

Re: Broadcast Help

Im assuming you are using al new mages, and that you ran the wizard to do the initial setup. And since you mentioned you may be missing something easy try this for starters.
On your main "mage" put fireball in wow hotkey slot 1. Then on another mage, do the same, hotkey fireball on wow hotkey 1. Switch back to main mage, target a baddie and press hotkey 1...I know this is beyond basic, but just in case...

Re: Broadcast Help

I'd suggest posting your Configuration.

Open the Toolbox, select copy to clipboard (in the File Menu).
Have it omit your account info.

Paste it on www.pastebin.com
Set it to be saved for 30 days.

Post the link here, and we can look at your configuration.

Re: Broadcast Help

I didn't look at your config because you said it's default and you didn't touch anything. My suggestions would be:
Code:
1. Make sure you're seeing the FPS in the upper left hand corner of all of your WoW windows
2. Make sure the ISBoxer addon is enabled on each of your WoWs
3. When you login or /reload your games check the chat box, on each window, for ISBoxer telling you that you have in game bindings that are conflicting
4. If you're using addons try disabling everything except for the ISBoxer addon

Can you make your other windows assist your main window? Or are they saying unknown target?

EDIT: Just read that they are indeed following [sorry it's early and I was just breezing through posts]. So something might be conflicting in game.
