Feature Request: Generic option to "fix" doubled keystrokes?

I've noticed there are a decent amount of games that have the issue such as Megaten - Double keystrokes. Would it be possible to make a checkbox option that could be applied to unsupported games that solves this for most cases, or is it not generally the same fix for games with this problem?

Please report the issue you are having and in what game so I can find the bug...

I have to look at it on a case by case basis, there's no keystroke doubler code that I can just turn off.
