Melee problems

Please help. I can use Isboxer on casters and dps distance alts like hunters. But rogue and warriors I have a problem. When I select a target and attack all is well, both alts attack the target, but when the target dies, the alt which is supposed to follow me onto the next target, does'nt. Do i need to do something?

Re: Melee problems

I will assume by "follow" you literally mean the game's auto-follow functionality.

This is WoW specific: FAQ: (WoW) Why do my guys stop auto-following when I fight something?

Re: Melee problems

You have two basic options...

I'd recommend giving a hotkey to the mapped key: FTL Follow Me.
When combat is over, press the key and move on.
The other toons will auto follow the toon (active window) that initiated this command.

If you're using Jamba, you can also play around with Strobe.
And set it to auto strobe, but only outside of combat.
This is the equivalent of spamming /Follow, every second or so.
Because an addon is doing this, it won't be considered botting on your part.
Strobe is the easy route, because you don't have to manually remember to do anything... but Strobe also has issues at times, with a previous slave (who is now the master) trying to follow a former master (who is now the slave).

Personally, for melee toons, I will:
a) Have IWT a part of my basic spammed attacks.
b) Have a toggle, to disable/enable the "imbedded" IWT at will.
c) Have slave independent movement keys, to break follow or running off in whatever direction syndrome.
d) Have a very easy to access keybind (I use a mouse thumb button), for FTL Follow Me.

c: copy the mapped key "Others Jump", but apply it to movement keys... see Example B, in Post #4: http://www.dual-boxing.com/threads/2623 ... %28Long%29
