Tried to search, failed. Wrong Sub-account?

So, after levelling a team from 0 to 69, I am STILL getting the wrong sub-acount for blah blah error. Even after manually logging the account in using the charName-Conf file.

Any way I can fix this? Exporting to IS pops the error, and the proper account in the drop-down is NEVER selected.

Re: Tried to search, failed. Wrong Sub-account?

Here's how this works.

Each Character in ISBoxer has an Account Name field, and a Sub-account Name field. These are game-agnostic terms. In World of Warcraft terms, the Account Name is your Battle.Net account name, and Sub-account Name is the WoW account name. Apparently for new accounts (maybe only new trial accounts, not sure) the WoW account names are WoW1, WoW2, and so on.

When you Export to Inner Space, then for each Character with config.wtf virtualized, ISBoxer is going to check that the Battle.Net account name and the WoW account name both match what is configured for the Character. If the file exists and the names do not match, you will get the message that ISBoxer wants to fix it. (If the file does not exist, ISBoxer will create it from Config.WTF, and fill the information in. If Config.WTF itself does not exist, for example some people use multiple folders and never launched wow in each one, these checks don't happen until after the first time you launch the character)

When you launch the game, the correct Battle.Net account name and WoW account name are selected. The first time you log in, and any time you add a World of Warcraft account to your Battle.Net account, WoW will ask you to select the WoW account again. If you pick anything but the one that was already selected at the login screen, you are picking the wrong one for the Slot in your Character Set! .. and then ISBoxer will pop up that box again the next time you Export. So just make sure when this box comes up, that you pick the right one. This might mean not hitting enter or the login button when you enter your password with Repeater, but instead going to each one and making sure to note the account name, and then select it from the list.

Yes. It keeps putting 508443#1 and 508443#2 in the field, even though my battlenet accounts are WOW#1 and WOW#2.

Not a big deal. More of an inconvenience.

Then fix the fields per Character in ISBoxer. :)

I figured it'd be something that easy. Thanks Lax.

It's not often developers are their own customer Service Reps. You somehow manage to do both flawlessly.
