Viewer window contents being shifted

I am playing everquest with 6 chars. I have created a Source window on each of 5 of the chars over a hotbutton bar on their screen. On the main char I created 5 Viewer windows for each of the other chars. This worked fine up to a week ago when the Viewer windows all were shifted horizontally about 40 pixels. The Source windows all were in the right location. I deleted all windows and recreated them and they performed as expected. However, after restarting the game, the windows were again shifted horizontally again.
The character regions were created as 1980 x 1080 with the free space at the bottom for the windows taskbar. Does anyone have any idea of what could be causing the shift and how to stop it?

OK, nevermind. somehow the eqclient files got reset to 1920x1080, instead of the 1920x1050 that allows the taskbar to be visible.
Once I forced them to 1050 everything lined up the right way.
