[EQ1] Problem with repeater region and hotbar with social

I set up my first repeater region over a hot bar, and it works fine so far, except for one key.
I can get it to work for clickies (clickable items in the toon's inventories, placed on a hotbar), and AAs which have had a hotkey made from the AA window, and placed on a hotbar.
However, one spot has a social (macro, same macro for all three chars), and it does not work. It only works for the window which has focus. And it's in the middle of the hot bar, so I'm sure it's not a case of the repeater region not covering that area. So I assume there is an issue with socials on hotbars not working with repeater regions?
