Mouse repeat

I have a question about casting DK death and decay from healer window. Since that ability requires targeting with mouse and clicking, I need repeater turned on when I hit my hotkey.
Is there a way to turn off repeat after casting? Would a second step do it successfully and be triggered only after the mouse is clicked?

Assuming you used the Quick Setup Wizard, there is an example called "Example targeted AOE" in the FTL DPS Keys Key Map. It will work for Death and Decay for your DKs from your healer window with little modification.

In a nutshell, you need a Mapped Key with a Hotkey, and 1 Step. In that Step is 2 Actions, first a Keystroke Action (or Named WoW Macro Action, etc) to activate the ability, and a Send Next Click Action to temporarily activate Mouse Repeat until you click and release a mouse button. The only restriction to this is that you cannot activate this Mapped Key by using a mouse button (mouse1-mouse5) as its Hotkey because that will break the Send Next Click.
