First of many Questions

Here is the newest isboxer profile for troubleshooting.

I have configured the ITW to be G in WOW keybindings.
I have set CTM on in game client.


1. When I click Hotkey 1 (Pally+DK DPS 1) Keymap, nothing happens. The DKs do not engage the target with Melee and they do not cast howling blast.


Any ideas where the errors are?

I was reading your instructions and hit a bump at the last line below. I didn't immediately make the leap from what you said to what you meant. Can you edit-in the yellow text please? Every speedbump removed helps! Thanks pal! Shoulda followed you here a long time ago.

But the Control Keymap (which is always on), does not know to load and unload the team specific Key Map.
So we need to add that.
Click on Control, under Key Maps in the top left pane.
In the bottom left pane, select the Activate Maps (mapped key).
Expand Steps, Click on #2. In the bottom middle pane right click on General Keymap > On > All, and copy that to the clipboard.

And is there any functional reason why #1 is Set 2 and Off, and #2 is Set 1 and On, or is that just a quirk?

In the top left pane, there are directory structures.
Something like this.

- Mapped Key Name.
+ Steps

And if you click the +, on beside Steps, that expands.
So now you have:

- Mapped Key Name.
- Steps
1.


And you can click on Steps to add more or whatever.

Its the same as looking at a directory in Windows Explorer.
The minus indicates it is already open/expanded.
The plus indicates it is closed, but can be clicked on to display the subdirectory/files contained therein.






It is a preference on it a mapped key is enabled/disabled on the first step.
Obviously you'd do the opposite on the second step.

You can check a mapped key to not load by default.
In which case Step 1 would probably enable it.
And Step 2 can disable it.

You can not check the "do not load".
Which means it is loaded along with the set.
In which case Step 1, should toggle it off.
And Step 2... should toggle it on.

I am trying to configure ISboxer to do the following when I press 1 :
a. DKs target the target of the main window and assist him.
b. DKs IWT and run into melee range and attack
c. DKS cast howling blast and . . . that will be followed by other spells

Having your macros within IS Boxer is a good choice.
Because you can edit them easily, and apply them to any team.
And you can backup your configuration etc.

I've gone with all my spells are in Warcraft, as are my Macros.
But IS Boxer sends keybinds to Warcraft.
That's a valid choice too, and my approach mainly because there wasn't an option for a Warcraft macro action, when I made my configuration.





My approach will be a little different from yours, because of this.

I would edit the Wizard generated FTL DPS Keymap.
Take the mapped key: FTL DPS 1.

It should read:
Hotkey - 1.
Steps 1:
1) Do Mapped Key Action > FTL Assist Me > General Keymap > Target: Current Window (Self)
2) Keystroke Action > Send "1", Target: All windows.

You're going to want to modify it.
Have it also send your IWT keybind to your melee toons.
You can put them into an ATG.

3) Do Mapped Key Action > IWT Mapped Key > General Keymap > Target: Group (all of) Melee_ATG_Name



If you put a Warcraft macro on keybind "1" in the game.
With something like:

#show Howling Blast
/startattack
/use 6
/use 10
/use 14
/cast Howling Blast

(The use are for Belt, Gloves, Trinkets) that you want to auto click.
Those are optional, but I have them in mine.
