Unusual Keymap issue - Please assist

I have the exact same issue with some keys still being active when I disable Key Maps... I fairly sure though that it's because I didn't create them using the wizard. Will check when I get home and let you know. Garethnr, were you able to solve your issue this way?

Your question is answered in the FAQ: I added a new Key Map but the Key Maps toggle does not disable it?

You are absolutely right, and I was under that impression as well. I just tested the solution from FAQ and it works perfectly.
