Mouse side buttons aren't recognized as hotkey

For some reason, the side buttons on my mouse (I guess normally mouse 4 and 5) doesn't work as hotkey. When I press any of those two, they aren't recognized by isboxer. LMB, RMB or middle mouse button are recognized. I have a Logitech Performance MX. The game (Rift) will recognize it as a hotkey in the key bindings and they do work in any other software. Anyone have an idea of how to fix it?

Run Logitech SetPoint (the mouse's software) as Administrator

Hah, I read that in the FAQ but didn't think the side buttons were any "special" buttons... But it does fix it, thanks!
