Internal cooldown within a keymap?

Hi,

Is there a way to give an individual keymap a cooldown so, even if called, it won't activate until X time has passed?

Cheers!

Re: Internal cooldown within a keymap?

Yes, there are a couple ways of blocking a Mapped Key for X amount of time.

The main way that most people are familiar with is the "Do not advance" option at the top of each Step. If you make an empty Step for step 1, and set the "Do not advance" option to X amount of time, it wont go to Step 2 until at least X amount of time has passed since the first time the Mapped Key was activated. For example, if you don't want it to activate Step 2 for at least 10 seconds, tell it not to advance from Step 1 for at least 10 seconds.

Another way to do this is with a Key Map State Action or Mapped Key State Action, to turn on your Mapped Key. Both of these Actions are allowed to include a timer.
