Perpetuum Configuration Assistance

I am attempting to configure my first multi-boxing game and am playing perpetuum.

I so far have been able to configure everything to Launch correctly from the correct folders (PO requires multiple game folders to launch). The issue i seem to be having is establishing my movements and configuring the key-bindings to be transmitted from my lead client.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I have very big ideas about ways to leverage this software and maximize what i am able to do in game. I am just having a very difficult time learning the software.

Re: Perpetuum Configuration Assistance

As far as moving your toons...

You will find moving the main toon to be ideal.
With all of the others on auto follow to the lead toon.

You can broadcast (either Repeater or via Mapped Keys) your movement, but characters will not face exactly the same direction and over even a short distance they'll start to move in different directions.

Does PO have any kind of an assist/macro system?

If it does, the easiest approach will be to press "1" and have that sent to all windows.
Then have the "slaves" have the same abilities as the "master" in the same slots, but with their assist included.

The Quick Start Guide should help you.
Sorry I don't know anything about your game.

Re: Perpetuum Configuration Assistance

Hey, as follow up.

I am now successful at having my mouse repeat correctly to both my first and second client.

The problem i am having is my second client doesnt receive the input from my lead client.

Also is it possible to assign keys what will never be broadcast to the other clients?

Re: Perpetuum Configuration Assistance

In your Character Set, enable "Make game believe it is foreground window". Just select your Character Set in the top left pane, then it's a check box in the bottom right pane under the General tab.

Re: Perpetuum Configuration Assistance

Yeah i already enabled that button.

(Edit to expand)

The issue i am experiencing is the client on my second monitor is not receiving any of the key strokes form the lead client.

It does however have full mouse function.

Re: Perpetuum Configuration Assistance

There was a option for the keyboard to be broadcast to all the clients and it was disabled.

It was the thrid option stating it enabled/controlled that feature so it was quite confusing but i finally got the correct options pushed.

The quick-set up wizard did about 10% of the configuration i needed to do.

This is just me getting the basic functions enabled for controlling.

Now i start tweaking to preferences and attempting some of this FC stuff
